Patient Browser

The Alma 365 web viewer includes an advanced patient browser, located in the left-hand toolbar, that shows all the studies stored for the selected patient. The browser shows a thumbnail for each series that forms part of each patient study. These thumbnails can be dragged and dropped to the display windows in order to work on them.

The patient browser includes fully interactive options for splitting and arranging the display window. The viewer also includes a tool for generating Hanging Protocols, which automates the display based on the characteristics of the study (modality, description, etc.).

Series Comparison and Synchronization

The patient browser features options for comparing and synchronizing series of DICOM studies. As the browser shows the patient’s entire history, it is also possible to compare not just different series from the same study but also from previous studies, which is very important when making a diagnosis.
