Alma Medical Imaging has developed Alma WORKSTATION for the field of radiology. WORKSTATION is a digital medical image viewer specially designed for use on radiology workstations with high-resolution, medical-grade monitors, and is equipped with state-of-the-art technology tools.

As a healthcare product, Alma WORKSTATION meets the strictest quality requirements. The product complies with Directive 93/42/EEC on medical devices, and has been certified by SGS United Kingdom Ltd. (Notified Body number 0120), obtaining Class IIa CE marking. WORKSTATION is also compatible with the international DICOM standard and has been validated as an image viewer by the international organization IHE (Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise).

More than 5,000 Alma Workstation licenses have been successfully deployed in over 200 hospitals and health centers in more than 20 countries, including Spain, France, Italy, Colombia, Chile, Argentina, Morocco, and the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The Alma 2D VIEWER module is a viewer that displays digital medical images in DICOM format, which are usually generated from different radiological imaging techniques, such as conventional radiography (CR), computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), mammography (MG), ultrasound (US), and so on. In short, Alma 2D VIEWER is a complete radiological viewer incorporating state-of-the-art radiological display and assessment tools.

Alma 2D VIEWER has been validated by IHE, and is fully compatible with the DICOM standard; therefore, it can be integrated into any HIS/RIS/PACS healthcare information system.

The Alma 2D VIEWER complies with Directive 93/42/EEC on medical devices, and has been certified and awarded the CE mark by SGS United Kingdom Limited (Notified Body number 0120).

8.RADIOLOGIA_3Dvolume

The Alma 3D VOLUME module is an advanced three-dimensional reconstruction viewer that generates 3D models from DICOM images, and then displays them in real-time, in high quality, and with fully interactive realism.

Alma 3D VOLUME has been validated by IHE, and is fully compatible with the DICOM standard; therefore, it can be integrated into any HIS/RIS/PACS healthcare information system.

9. RADIOLOGIA_Mammo

The Alma MAMMO module is a viewer specifically designed for the evaluation of screening mammograms. Alma MAMMO features workflow management, which defines the sequence of steps that radiologists must follow to create a complete screening mammogram report.

10.RADIOLOGIA_Ortho

The Alma ORTHO module is a specialized viewer featuring traumatology tools, as well as support for pre-surgical planning and post-surgical evaluation of hip and knee prosthetic implants.

The Alma Dental is a new module includes advanced diagnostic imaging tools for the fields of odontology and maxillofacial surgery.

13.RADIOLOGIA_Vascular

The Alma VASCULAR module is a specialized viewer for vascular analysis based on CT angiography radiological studies. The viewer is used to assess angiograms of arteries, such as the aorta, in order to detect aneurysms, abnormalities, and calcifications.

The Alma CARDIO module offers specialized tools for performing diagnoses through images taken from nuclear medicine studies, such as low-energy scintigrams or high-energy positron-emission tomography (PET) scans. It includes an advanced tool that fuses PET/CT and SPECT/CT scanners.

The Alma NUCLEAR module offers specialized tools for performing diagnoses through images taken from nuclear medicine studies, such as low-energy scintigrams or high-energy positron-emission tomography (PET) scans. It includes an advanced tool that fuses PET/CT and SPECT/CT scanners. 

14.RADIOLOGIA_MPR

Alma MPR is a multiplanar reconstruction module. It takes a sequence of input images and constructs a threedimensional model while simultaneously displaying fully interactive MPR projections in axial, coronal, sagittal, and oblique views.
